Typical Appointment Hours
Returned telephone calls and emails will be attempted within 48 hours of being received. In an effort to maintain confidentiality please send brief emails with little to no therapeutic information. Please know that it is difficult to return calls during typical societal business hours, as we are in session most of the day with clients. We will do my best to reach out to you as soon as I can, sometimes in the evening.

Therapy sessions take place in-person at the Lakeland, FL office address. Remote videoconferencing is available for individual therapy; determined on an individual basis.

We do not offer crisis services. If an emergency arises or you are in crisis please call 911 or your local crisis line.
Monday: 8am - 4pm
Tuesday: 8am - 7pm
Wednesday: 8am - 7pm
Thursday: 8am - 6pm
Friday: 8am - 2pm
Saturday: not accepting at this time

Rate for Counseling Services
Our rates are dependent on the type of session or services provided. For evaluation or consultation rates please visit the corresponding pages. The fees for counseling services are as listed below. Please note that the fees listed are out of pocket costs. The rates vary slightly for insurance benefits due to the listing of services based on CPT Codes. Therefore, they may appear as itemized on your superbill for each service rendered.
Individual session (60minutes) $150.00
Couples session (90minutes) $200.00
Trauma focused session (75minutes) $175.00

Insurance Coverage
Vital Balance can be considered an out-of-network provider for various insurance companies. If we are out-of-network for your insurance, the practice does not bill your insurance company directly, however, we provide a statement of services and payments (known as a superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement of payment. The amount of reimbursement is handled between you and your insurance provider. Clients are encouraged to utilize the Reimbursify app as a way to simplify the reimbursement process. Please note the Reimbursify company charges a$1.99 fee for each submission using the app.

Please note that some insurance companies do not cover extended sessions. The client is response for the extended time if I am not contracted with their insurance provider for the extended time CPT code 99354.
Reduced Session Rates and Discounts
Although Vital Balance does not offer discounts to varying groups, we offer some caseload slots at a reduced rate. Please note that caseload slots for reduced session rates are limited, only apply to individual 50minute sessions, and may not always be available. An alternative fee schedule form will be signed the first session and will expire 6 months from first session but can be renewed if there is availability to do so.
