Evaluations
An evaluation is typically used to gain insight into behavioral and emotional tendencies, for identification of the presenting issues, and/or access to professional services. At times, evaluations can be requested by employers, civil court orders, parents, schools, or other officials. Independent evaluations and ordered evaluations have different confidentiality limitations and often are for very different purposes. If you are unsure which evaluation you are seeking or have questions about the purpose of evaluation and assessment, please contact our office directly.

Evaluations are provided as requested by an individual or provider. Evaluations consist of a client interview, testing, and collateral information collection. Once the evaluation is complete, a report is written providing a diagnosis (if one is identified) and recommended treatment.
